Hi New Td Welcome to our great family.Its wonderfull to have you with us. This information is designed to make that first game easier but I know are you going to do great just remember to breath.


Starting The Game


You have done your advertising and 5 minutes before the game is due to start entered your tourney room. Once there you remembered to /c and /messages greeted your players and run your rules. Now it is time to start the tourney, First you press the disallow entries button ane make sure you have all your players with you giving a chance for late comers to get there and if they don't outing them. That button will be right there beside their names. Now you press the start game button and off you go. There are your pairings so you can assign your players to their tables.




The Room


You are doing great your players are all at thier table playing happily once they are done their games you will see the results in red in the chat log. This will que you that is is time for your next job. You will advance the pairings say good by to the loosers inviting them to return soon and congragulate your winners.






Advancing the Parinings


To move the pairings you just go the the drop bar behind each set of players. Clicking on it will reveal both players names . Highlight the winner. Go to the bottom of the page press the note results button. When the page re-appears check it then press the confirm results button. See the player moved on. Oopsy you made an error don't worry we all do it. See at the top of the page there is a swap player button press it and highlight the names of the 2 players involved and press swap. Presto the error is corrected.






Finishing the game


This is much like advancing the players.You hit the scroll bar beside the playing pairs names and choose the winner. Once the proper name is in the slot you press the note result button at the bottom of the page this will cause the page to blink and reappear check it to make sure all is as you intended it to be, then press the finish tourney button at the bottom. You did it your first tourney is over it will only get easier as you go.







Calculate



Some time a player will have toruble in the first round of the tourney and not be able to play it. In that case the players are notified of the need for an adjustment and you the TD need to get the new payour figures. You do this by going to the calculate button on the top of the page. Press on it and you will get a new window.



This allowes you to calculate the new Payouts. As you can see one can change the number of players press calculate button and the new ammounts will appear the box below. You can then copy the information to a note pad for future refrence.
