Hey Teamies....
A special friend of mine wrote this little story for me... I love it and thought it was just perfect for YOU from me. My friend said it was okey dokey for me to share with you as long as I didn't give her name. LOL I've changed the names to protect the guilty. Happy Easter and God's blessings always.

Once upon a time there was a little girl, whose name was Marge. Easter time was fast approaching and she dreamed about having a golden egg. She saved all her change in hopes of buying a magic hen that would lay the golden egg. After many months she had saved enough and ran to the market to buy her hen. She told the hen how desperate she was for her to lay the golden egg. The hen listening intently and knew she had to make the golden egg just perfect. It made her very nervous. In fact, she got sooooo nervous she......

Well, it took several days but finally little Marge got all the pieces of the hen and her feathers picked up and in the trash. What was she going to do?? She just had to have the golden egg. She thought and thought and finally decided that the Easter Bunny was the answer.
The Easter Bunny had always brought her candy and eggs for Easter. Surely, he must have the golden egg. She sat quickly and wrote the bunny a wonderful letter begging for the golden egg.
Unfortunately, the Easter Bunny had had a bad year. His stocks had been hit hard and were way down. Mrs Bunny had left him, he was paying support for 32 baby bunnies and the bank was about to foreclose on his egg hut. Pretty much the Easter Bunny was totally drunk all day long!!
Would he understand little Marge's letter? Would he even be able to focus in on it??

When little Marge decided the Easter bunny was a waste of time (and muttering she would burn off his furry ass if she saw him) she had to think of another way to get the golden egg. After all, wasn't the 3rd time the charm?? She thought she would go see Mr. Rabbit, the egg maker down the street.
She entered the shop and Mr Rabbit asked her what type of egg she wanted. He had blue eggs, green eggs, striped eggs, flowered eggs....almost anything she could imagine. She told Mr. Rabbit that she had a very special egg in mind - the famous golden egg. Mr. Rabbit had indeed heard of this egg but had never seen it himself and didn't know where to find it.
Poor, little Marge was so upset. She walked home to her house and sat upon her bed. She would never find the golden egg and bitter tears began to fall. Little Marge's mom entered the room and found her sobbing. What is the matter my little one?? Tell me what is wrong???
Will she tell her mom she wants a golden egg that probably doesn't exist?? Will her mom have little Marge locked up in the looney bin???

Little Marge was so unhappy and her mother decided it was time she learned the truth about the golden egg. She sat Marge down and told her that she would never be able to touch the golden egg but it did exist. It exists in all of us. The golden egg is where we keep our truly dear treasures, our family, our friends and our faith. The golden egg keeps safe those values we hold higher than life. It is in each of us and remains with us thru our entire life.
Well little Marge was amazed. She couldn't believe the time she had spent searching for something that she already possessed. She was, indeed, a very happy little girl.
The End!
Thanks for being a part of my golden egg. May this Easter season find you healthy, happy and truly blessed.
